Weight Loss Diets Weight loss diets all share a common theme, to reduce the intake of energy, either through low carb diets, low fat diets or replacing carbs and/or fats with a food type which is harder to digest such as the high protein diets. The simple rule is (Energy in - Energy expended), if you eat more than you use you will gain weight, if you expend more than you consume you will loose weight. Exercise The key to long term weight loss is making a lifestyle choice, changing your habits from being basically sedentary to incorporating exercise as part of your daily life. Catching public transport when you are able, while not as convenient, the extra walk will do you good or walking to the near by shops for the odd bits and pieces are small examples of lifestyle changes that will benifit your weight loss goals. Weight Loss Plans Loosing weight does not just happen, some planning and a good deal of determination and mental attitude goes in to it. Plan your meals for the week, expecially the weekends! It is too easy to fall into the trap of over eating around others, try not to meet your friends around meal times, eat before you go and make sure you limit your intake of alcohol, even a moderate night out can undo a weeks worth of good work.
